Staff Induction – Strength In Care

Welcome to Strength In Care. First of all we would like to tell you that Strength In Care is in an inclusive and open organisation. We appreciate honest and open feedback around our processes and work environment.

Please follow the prompts and this will take you through the induction process. In this process we will give you information about Strength In Care, your employment and we will gather all the necessary information and documentation to start your role with us.

Anytime you finish a form on a page, you can stop the process and finish the rest of the forms later. 

 

Strength In Care was founded by a support worker. We care about carers and want to make sure that you feel valued and listened to. Talk to your supervisor and have open communication. And if you ever feel that something isn’t right. Speak up and let us know. We are open to change and always have the wellbeing of our staff and participants in mind. 

 

During this process we will need personal information, your bank details, Super details, tax file number and the following documentation and certificates:

Drivers licence (front and back)
– Working with Children Card
– NDIS Worker Screener Number and expiry date
– First aid and CPR certificate
– Visa documentation (if applicable)
– Vaccination Status

3. Code of Conduct and Position Description

This form should be filled out by all staff.

This form should be read and acknoweldged. This is your position description, whcih outlines your regular duties and our Code of Conduct.

Please make sure you adhere to these documents at all times while working at Strength In Care.

4. Conflict of interest Declaration

This form should be filled out by all staff. 

The form should declare interests that might influence your work environment. For example if your partner is also an employee, if you have other work (contractors should declare they work as contractor) and if you have any relationships with clients.
